Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski issued an executive order last month directing state agencies that regulate business to streamline their rules and procedures. Businesses are being asked to help with this initiative by participating in a Business Regulatory Climate Survey. To take this survey, go to www.streamline.oregon.gov/survey. The survey has lots of opportunity for your comments and suggestions.

You and your business must comply with over 75,000 pages of federal business regulations. You must also comply with the Federal Tax Code that now covers 17,000 pages. Let the Governor know that with this much federal regulation, anything the State can do to make your life easier helps Oregon business, helps Oregon employees and helps increase Oregon tax revenue.
