No NLRB Poster . . . For Now

LegalBriefs told you how the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) adopted a rule requiring non-union employers to notify non-union employees of their right to join a union. Last week, our skepticism was shared by a federal appeals court.

You learned about the NLRB poster requirement from our article New NLRB Post Rule. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has granted an emergency injunction baring the NLRB from enforcing this rule until the appeal is argued in September.

The April 30, 2012 deadline requiring employers to display the NLRB poster has again been delayed. You do not need to do anything, at least not yet.
